Almost done...

This is my last week at home and I can't believe how fast the time has gone. I feel like Wyatt has always been a part of our family, but 12 weeks isn't long enough for this momma. Evan loves his little brother so much. Not just anyone gets to share his blankie, but Wyatt gets to a lot.

Wyatt is smiling, giggling and interacting with us so much. I think that is what makes it so hard to go back to work too.  He is starting to sleep 5-6 hour stretches a few nights a week. Then others he thinks he is so hungry he just can't wait.

2 months with Elephante.

Smiling shopping with mommy.
Playing ball like his big brother.
So happy!
Evan watching his new Cars 2 movie.
Evan not a fan of Santa...once again.

We had a great Christmas, watching Evan's face was priceless. He got a train table and every Cars toy and accessory ever made.  He is set for life with McQueen and Mater!

I will follow up with more pictures soon.

2 months old

We had Wyatt's 2 month check up yesterday and he is following Evan's foot steps. Big boy!

15 3/4 head - 51%
13lbs 12.5oz 91%
23" long 54%

His doctor said Wyatt doesn't miss a thing when she was examining him. We are so blessed to have two healthy boys.  They keep us on our toes and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Here is Wyatt with Elephante at 2 months

Evan had to get in on the pictures too

Here is one of my current favorites of Wyatt's. So smiley!

My Aunt Nancy and Aunt Char came to visit and spend time with us from Wisconsin. They loved and fought over Wyatt and Evan equally:)  It was great to have them visit.

Baptism, dentist and thanksgiving

Evan had his first visit to the dentist. He did awesome! Evan climbed in the chair opened up and let them literally clean his teeth like you and me. Chocolate toothpaste, the swirly thing and rinsed with water. Then he let her floss his teeth! We were all shocked an amazed. She said she doesn't have 10 year olds that do that well.

Then he picked out a toy from the treasure chest. Basketball maracas of course.

We also had wyatt's baptism last weekend. He decided that he would talk/yell the whole time and make us sweat. He did calm down after we got him a bottle. There is always one in each bunch, we were it.

We had a great thanksgiving with my family this year. It is very nice to have my famil so close.  Here is Nick and Evan on Papa Dave's tractor.

6 weeks...half way done

I love being on maternity leave with Wyatt. The only sad part is that we are half way done now. He is such a good baby. Now if he would stretch out his eating habits we would be in good shape. He eats every 2-3 during the day, and at night he has gone 4-5, but not consistently. We will get there.

We had the boys pictures taken last weekend so here we go.

TACKLE!

3 weeks already?!

Wyatt is 3 weeks old today and I can't believe it. Time really does fly by. I really don't know what we do all day, but it goes so fast. We usually have one outing a day - Target, mall, oil change, etc. He is my good little shopper, usually just sleeps the whole time.

Had Wyatt's two week check and while we were there, Evan got a flu shot.
Wyatt looks good. weighed in at 9lbs 11oz (72%) and is 21.25 long (69%). Had to go get his foot pricked again b/c he is still a little yellow but he is fine.

Evan got his flu shot in the thigh and did pretty dang good after the initial OWIE! scream! did get three cars stickers to go along w/ his cars band aid. Also gave one sticker to Wyatt, such a sweetie.

I had to get both boys ready and myself for a 9 a.m. appt. I was sweating and really wasn't sure we were going to make it. We did, just in time. It was a rough morning of Evan stepping in Lou's puke outside his bathroom and me trying to feed Wyatt and Evan and look presentable. Needless to say I didn't even look in the mirror before I left and our next appt. will be later in the day:)

Wyatt is here!

We are officially a family of four! Our sweet baby Wyatt joined us at 11:51 a.m. on Friday, October 7. He weighed 9lbs 2.2 oz and brown hair. He is such a sweet little boy. Evan LOVES his baby brother and being a BIG brother. He will kiss and hug him unprompted all the time. He is very gentle and sweet.

The life of a two year old not getting his way. Pull down pants and lay down.
One night we were reading Evan books before bed and he wanted to hold Wyatt and he was reading to him, kissing his head and loving on him. I teared up and am so thankful we have two healthy little boys. I know there will be times when they rumble, but I really think they are going to be best of friends. I can't wait to watch Nick and his boys play ball for years to come. Evan loves playing tackle with Nick in the living room and I always get the Packer flag to wave and if I am not doing a good enough job he lets me know. I guess I am all-time cheerleader.

Thanks for all the well wishes, dinners, and help. Grandma Kate has been here this week and been oh so helpful!!

Nick, Amy, Evan and Wyatt
