Catching up

The holidays are almost over and that means one thing...back to work for me. It's my last week home and I have mixed feelings- well not really I want it to last forever. I've enjoyed every (almost) minute being home. I've been able to take and pick Evan up from school, have lunch with him, and help him transition to kindergarten - something I never will be able to do with Wyatt or Lucy.

Ive been able to just hang with Lucy just like I did with the boys. Each time has been so special for me. This one even a bit more because it's my last and longest. I've tried my hardest to look at each moment as a blessing because I know people have to go back to work so much earlier and I can't imagine.

Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to. Christmas post to come...

Belle - Aunt Caitlin's new puppy

Shooting hoops at the Waukee game - some day this will be him on the court as a warrior.

Lucy is 3 months and full of smiles! She likes her dad now:) and loves her brothers.

Christmas break lunch with mom and Lucy.

Project time with Grandma

Rocking the dentist. I love going and the boys do too so I hope it continues.

Fun in December

Here are some random photos from Wyatt's Christmas concert and party. Also Grandpa and Grandma took the boys to Bass Pro and of course they loved it!

Lucy's Baptism and Thanksgiving

This past week we have celebrated a lot including Lucy's baptism. Erin and Ben are her Godparents and Lucy is so lucky to have them in her life.

We also had thanksgiving at the Wielands and got a lot of sledding in on a freezing cold day.

Grandma had lots of projects to keep the boys busy.

The boys and I went to Disney on Ice on Sunday night and loved it!

More fall fun

Lucy Eleanor is 2 months today. Quote from doctor and nurse - beautiful and perfect. We couldn't ask for anything else.

Head: 15 1/4 - 73%
Weight: 12lb 1oz 69%
Length: 23" 76%

Before shots
During shots
After shots

You would think the third child would be easier for shots - NOPE! Still hurts me so much and yes still cried. At least we are protected against pneumococcal...right?!
