I'm afraid I will forget to post any more pictures for awhile, so I have to do it now. It is my last day of work today and I am feeling every bit of being done. Not sure why in the world my babies like my tummy so much, but I'm ready to meet our little person.

It is baby week!

We like to keep busy around our house so why not keep a busy week ahead of us.
Here is a recap of Evan's soccer game.

Grandpa and Grandma Varcoe are special mystery guests on Friday for Evans class and I get to have lunch with him on Thursday. My last day of work is Wednesday until January if all goes well. I'm looking forward to some time with the baby and the boys.

Irish buddies with the Rice family.
Here is to 3 more days of a family of 4 (5 if you include Lou and the boys always do).

I pray for our family to adjust to our new family member, a safe delivery and most of all a healthy baby (any gender). :)

Love,
Nick, Amy, Evan, Wyatt and Tre (and Lou)

One week to go!

Baby is hanging right in there with a strong 146 heart beat. I can't find Evan's heart beat, but Wyatt 1 week out was 140.

It was our last clinic visit and my last Thursday of work for a long time. I'm so glad this has been pretty uneventful in the grand scheme of things. And because it is Throwback Thursday - here is my mom pregnant with me a few days, maybe the day before I was born.

Funny story from school from Evan:
He told me all about his friends in his class and who is naughty and nice. It is quite funny to hear him describe what Mrs. McCue says to everyone (in his words), who gets more punches on their punch card, how far he ran at recess for the Shuler Striders, what he ate (and how many hot lunch kids, cold lunch, etc) he loves numbers. They are working on uppercase and lowercase letters and Evan is doing fantastic. He really loves to learn!

Wyatt has visited Fireflies (3 year old room) two times this week, so another transition to add into our lives:) Luckily he is a little more laid back than his brother.

Soccer time

Both Evan and Wyatt have started soccer and it is so fun to watch both of them. Evan is a natural athlete and loves to play and is so good at encouraging his teammates when he isn't on the field. I hope he keeps his team spirit and love for sports as he grows. (I didn't take any pictures, but Grandpa Dave did, so I will add those soon).

This is Wyatt's first sport we have signed him up for so we weren't sure what to expect. Well, he crushed it! He took to it like his big brother and had a great time (and showed some real talent).

10 days and counting...
Baby's heartbeat was 160 last Friday at our appointment for the record. Evan - around 140 (can't find exact date to match) Wyatt was 125 at 23 days out.

Baby Update

Baby is doing great - mama, not so much. This week has been pretty rough on me - the weather was hot and humid and baby took a turn to show me it is still in charge. I have felt really tired and sick - but I only have 20 days and 22 hours until we meet our little baby.

Today the heart beat was 141 - Wyatt was 125 at this stage and Evan a week earlier was 140. Based on this scientific research I would say boy.

Our OB is pretty much the best on the planet and luckily she is our neighbor too. She is just as excited as us and said if we go into labor to call her because she would be really sad if she missed our baby.

Just a few short weeks...

Here is my 35 week bump picture from last week.

In just over three weeks will be meet our little addition to our family. I'm ready, but not that ready that I need to have baby here tomorrow. Although the past few days of heat and humidity are starting to take a toll on me. Keeping up with the boys, Evan starting school and work are putting my body through the ringer.

Along with the rest of the world we have done the ice bucket challenge at our house. The boys loved it! (all three)

Happy Homie
Wyatt has been cracking us up lately, just a funny kid in a much quieter way than Evan. I asked him the other morning if he had a tail like his monkey and he said no I have a bottom. He doesn't want a lot of attention, especially if he is doing something cute - unlike a certain older brother. We are trying to give each of the boys their special attention, knowing that we will become more distracted and busy with baby.

Nick, Amy, Evan, Wyatt and Tre
