Lucy is 1!

Some how some way our baby girl turned 1. Some days it feels like it she just joined our family, some days it feels like she has always been here. I know everyone says time goes fast, but if that time is overnight whoever "they" are, were wrong. :)

Lucy is the sweetest, most calm baby of the Varcoe 3, now this is if mom or dad is around. She doesn't like strangers or anyone really to be close to her or in her bubble. She adores her brothers and no one can make her laugh like Evan. She loves her kitty Lou and will shriek and chase him ALL over the house, and for some odd reason he doesn't mind. She followed suit with her brothers and started taking steps on her birthday. Walking is just around the corner.

End of summer

We've had such a fun summer. School is back in session. The fall birthdays are quickly approaching and we will no longer have a "baby" in the house😢 buy that also means no more 3 year old either 😃 photo evidence I'm over 3.

I got a wild hair after doing my first indoor swim tri in May to do an outdoor swim tri - well this past weekend was the day. Nick was amazing with all my training, helping with the kids, and listening to all my worries and workout talk.

I was happy with how everything went, except the run. It was hot, hotter than hot and I was dehydrated which didn't help the run or the recovery the next 24 hours. But it is over and done!

Wyatt started soccer and is in every play! Most of the kids are 2 years older than him, but you can't tell!

There is a snapshot of the last week...whew...I'm exhausted. First day for Evan was great! He has Mrs. Tryon and what we got out of him really liked her and his first day. He knows a lot of kids there and of course is Mr. Social, so I am sure soon enough he'll be running the show in 1st grade.
