Evan finished Vacation Bible School and did so well. I am beyond impressed with all he learned and really took away. Thanks to my parents for shuttling him all week!

We got Evan a trail behind bike and he loves it. I am terrified because he can break and I about flew off the bike a couple of times, but we are getting there. I wouldn't even look at the camera:)

Weekend Away

Nick and I went to Chicago this past weekend and the boys went to Grandpa Steve and Grandma Kate's house. Needless to say the boys had a blast!

New experiences and selfies

We are all about trying new things, especially with the boys. This past weekend we were invited by some friends to the Iowa Speedway Camping Truck Race. I didn't know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised at how fun it was - albeit loud!

We also went to the Dallas County Fair because Mom and I were Queen judges again. Boys loved riding the rides and seeing all the animals.

 Evan has started using our cameras on our phones to take "selfies" seriously this makes my day when I find more on my phone. Usually he does this in the car or at home and we don't even know it. Here is a series from this morning. I can't stop laughing!

 I hope he keeps his goofiness long into his life because I love it.
