Baby #3 update

We are all set for September 19 for baby's arrival. Scheduled with the doctor today and can't believe in just 13 short weeks we will be a complete family of 5. We will have a kindergartner, almost three-year old and a new baby to keep us busy.

Baby's heart beat was 155 and has been moving around a lot. Finally moved off my pelvic bone and relieved most of the back pain I was experiencing. Now is the comfortable time, still sleeping well and can still play with the boys and getting some good golf swings in before baby gets too much in the way.

Hanging on Grandpa's pond
Evan participated in Waukee's Track Camp last week and did great! I was super proud of how well he did in the 100 meter dash, long jump and shot put.  Finished 3rd or 4th out of about 20 kids in all the events. The two kids who finished ahead of him will also go to Shuler Elementary with him so they should have great sports teams as they grow!
100 meter dash results (after falling after the blocks he still finished 3rd) the real gun that went off probably spooked him a little.
Waiting to throw the shot put
How Wyatt entertains himself at Evan's long jump
We are still playing baseball and love watching Nick coach and Evan play.

Crazy cousins on Father's Day
Total concentration - love this picture.
Nick and I watching Evan long jump and consider this your 25 week bump update picture.
Dad should be getting me some action shots of Evan at track camp and will post soon.
Big Brother letting Wyatt "hang out" with him at track camp. My favorite picture.

Celebrating Father's Day at the Zoo! Love these boys.
I also overheard Wyatt telling Evan that he was his best friend, they didn't know I was listening and completely melted my heart.

Love,
Nick, Amy, Evan, Wyatt and Baby #3

Dam to Dam

Each year Nick is crazy enough to run Dam to Dam, which was a half marathon for the first time this year. We had a large group of spectators this year to cheer on the runners - Nick, Eric and John.

This year Grandma Kate got balloons so the runners could find us easier...
Cruising in Grandpa's car (first time this car has had car seats)

Got the balloons!

Uh oh - lost our balloon.

Ready for summer and new adventures

The biggest news is we have a preschool graduate and soon to be kindergartner. Really really not sure when that happened, but Evan is excited and so ready. Each kid got to say what they wanted to be when they grow up and Evan said he wanted to be a kid doctor. Love hearing all the kids dreams and career aspirations. We are so proud of Evan and what a kind, sweet, sensitive, smart boy he is and will hopefully continue to be at Shuler Elementary in just 10 short weeks!

Best buddy Drew and Evan

Big boy!

Aunt Char and Aunt Nancy came from WI to a game to watch Evan play ball and got some great photos, along with Grandpa Dave.

So I get our family into a lot of public things with my job, but I think this is one for the record books. This is our family photo at the Waukee YMCA, plastered to the wall. Nick didn't sign off on such a large family portrait, and honestly neither did I. All in the name of the job, board member, love of PR/Branding:)
Love,
Nick, Amy, Evan and Wyatt (baby #3 is doing great too)
