6 months and First Visit from the Tooth Fairy

Wyatt left "Beary" at daycare and our beloved Annie drove it all the way to our house so Beary didn't have to spend the weekend at daycare. Think Toy Story 3, so many things could have happened to him there.
It finally happened...Evan lost his first tooth at Grandma's house over spring break on a piece of gum.

Grandma Lois made Evan a custom tooth fairy pillow

Go Panthers!!

Our Lucy girl is 6 months old. She is eating rice cereal and rolling all over the place. Still not sleeping all night, except here and there, but luckily she is cute. She loves her brothers and being talked to. She smiles all the time and is so happy. She is 17.45lbs - 69% and 25.5" 29% for height, but her doctor thought that was off and she wasn't measured correctly.

Lou also had a birthday and turned 10 years old! He is still frisky, fat and lazy all at the same time.

We are enjoying the few nice days we have had and are gearing up for baseball and flag football season for the boys.

Love,
Nick, Amy, Evan, Wyatt, and Lucy

Lucy's 4 months

Lucy is perfectly healthy and couldn't have a better check up.
15 lbs 1 oz - 66%
24 3/4" tall - 59%
Head - 16 1/4" 67%

For reference the boys were 17'9lbs and 16'5lbs!

Happy and healthy what else could we ask for?!

So far daycare is going great and she has our beloved Annie as her teacher. She is very tired at night which is the same as her big brother Evan coming home from kindergarten:)

Winter

It is chaotic and hectic to say the least at our house right now. I just went back to work and we are beyond lucky to have Grandma's helping out with Lucy. This comes to an end tomorrow...I'm not sure how I am going to function without the extra pair of hands.

When the chaos subsides a little this is what makes all the craziness worth it.
My little loves enjoying a bed time story.

Catching up

The holidays are almost over and that means one thing...back to work for me. It's my last week home and I have mixed feelings- well not really I want it to last forever. I've enjoyed every (almost) minute being home. I've been able to take and pick Evan up from school, have lunch with him, and help him transition to kindergarten - something I never will be able to do with Wyatt or Lucy.

Ive been able to just hang with Lucy just like I did with the boys. Each time has been so special for me. This one even a bit more because it's my last and longest. I've tried my hardest to look at each moment as a blessing because I know people have to go back to work so much earlier and I can't imagine.

Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to. Christmas post to come...

Belle - Aunt Caitlin's new puppy

Shooting hoops at the Waukee game - some day this will be him on the court as a warrior.

Lucy is 3 months and full of smiles! She likes her dad now:) and loves her brothers.

Christmas break lunch with mom and Lucy.

Project time with Grandma

Rocking the dentist. I love going and the boys do too so I hope it continues.
