We started by celebrating Grandpa Dave's birthday at Joe's Crab Shack. Yep they got him on the pony.

Then it was on to church Saturday night (with the rest of central Iowa). Evan hasn't quite learned the meaning of inside voices. Then Nick and I got to enjoy an early 5 year anniversary dinner out while Grandpa and Grandma Wieland watched Evan and fed him ice cream.
Sunday we had brunch at our house and then it was off to the Easter Egg Hunt. We kept having to rehide the eggs because Evan loved picking them up so much.
He looks angry in this picture, but he actually was having a lot of fun.
New Mickey Mouse chair from the Easter bunny.
He is a great kicker, but we were trying to explain to him soccer really doesn't make a lot of money in the future.
Baby #2, Deuce, Dos, whatever we are calling this babe is right on track. Heart beat at 16 1/2 weeks is 140 on the dot. Not into maternity clothes yet, but I know the time is coming...
Evan started a new classroom at school with his new teacher Niki. This is his first week and each day is getting a little better. They sit on the potty there! Yikes! I feel like he is a freshman in a room full of seniors, but I know time goes fast and he will be the big kid again soon.
Love,
Nick, Amy, Evan and Baby #2
