We have a had a busy few weeks, with no signs of slowing down. Evan keeps us on the go all the time and is so much fun.
Grandma made him a new bean bag and he loves it. He is eating his cheerios in the morning watch cartoons when he isn't chasing Lou or pushing his cars around.
We went to Cedar Rapids for a wedding and Grandpa Steve took us out for dinner during a thunderstorm (Grandpa's favorite). Evan didn't care, he just wanted to ride on the motorcycle.
Grandma Lois came to visit and boy did he have fun. So much fun that he feel asleep in the middle of the floor while mom was getting ready for work. He NEVER does this so he must have been worn out.
Nick and I went golfing for my birthday and had a wonderfuly day. Evan got me a balloon, but I think it was more for him. He loves balloons!
At the wedding last weekend, Evan was dancing up a storm. I wish I had my camera because he was having so much fun. He kicked off his shoes and was getting down. Until a big kid took him out hard. They were both running around and BAM, down went Evan, back to the floor. Poor kid didn't know what hit him. Luckily he was ok.
We spent Father's Day in Cedar Rapids for the morning and then headed back to Des Moines. We played outside and ate some yummy Olive Garden. Nick is the best dad to our little boy. Evan just adores his daddy and loves reading books and wrestling with him on the floor. One of these days they will be in the back yard throwing the ball around - probably sooner than we think.
