summer fun!

We have had a busy summer so far and no signs of slowing down. Here are some pictures from the Fourth of July. Evan has started to really understand what we are trying to tell him and is great about telling us what he wants. Sometimes it is a little louder than we would like, but we are working on it.

He is a dancing machine and loves music. Bobs his head, bends his knees and moves his arms up and down. Such a hamball!

Hey dad we match!

Why all the pictures today? I would rather be watching soccer with dad.
Mom I know you said no, but I want a Budweiser and some milk.
Even if I really want it I still can't have it?
Fourth of July can wipe a kid out, and parents.
Waukee had a redo on the Fourth of July celebration so we went to the park and took Evan on some inflatable toys.

Here we are waiting to go down the BIG slide. He is waiting so patiently.
Mom and Evan going down the HUGE slide. Seriously this thing was big and fast. If there was a video you would have heard me scream and Evan laughing hysterically. I was so worried I was going to drop him and keep my feet up.
Evan in the bounce house. This kid was in heaven!

We had Aunt Lindsay's wedding this past weekend. Evan was a junior groomsmen and was a total ham. Did great down the isle, but not too excited about having to leave with Grandma Lois. The only thing that drowned out the crying was the trumpets when Lindsay walked in. Whew, thank goodness she picked trumpets and not a flute!

The wedding was beautiful and Ben and Lindsay were so happy, as were the rest of us. Here are a few pics, more to come.

After the trolley ride.
A stop at Pagilais pizza a must for the Varcoe clan.

Until next time...

love,
Amy, Nick and Evan

Mom give me the camera...now!
