New words

Our little boy is learning a new word a day it seems like. So for my own record I thought I would write down the words he currently knows and says regularly.

"pa" - Grandpa

ball

He also knows where his nose, head, ear, teeth, toes and belly are when we ask he will point to those body parts. It is amazing to watch him learn and want to mimic everything we do. Oh and he learned "pounds" too - which is giving rocks, knuckles, etc. He thinks it is hilarious!

Evan and Lou have a love hate relationship, but mostly love. Evan loves to "soft touch" Lou and for the most part Lou tolerates it, but sometimes Evan goes a little too far and Lou will bat Evan, which makes Evan laugh hysterically. He has learned to give Lou a treat, but thinks he needs to force it in his mouth.

Grandpa Steve, Grandma Kate and I ran in a 5k race to support military troops. Hottest day ever is all I have to say! Here are some pictures from the race.

We had a nice weekend home before we travel to see Great Grandpa Wieland and Hilsons and hopefully get to see Evan's second cousin Clayton on his 2nd birthday. Then to Aunt Caitlin's engagement party in Rochester, MN. First time we get to use the DVD player we bought:) Mom and Evan in the back!
