Weekend away

Evan got to spend the night for the first time at Grandma and Papa's new house over the weekend and did so well! Grandma called me on Sunday morning and said "mom who?" he was having so much fun. He did so well and got to stay up waaaay past bedtime.


Evan and Papa caught fish - Guess this fish was a little too big for Evan's liking.

Loved the horses 

Watching the horse get new shoes. Evan told all of us his new shoes are from the mall. Wise little boy he is.  

Dad and Evan stopped at the Waukee football field during a bike ride. He loves to say touchdown! Dad had him running stairs, the full length of the field and doing up/downs - well not really, but the first two.

This picture just surfaced and couldn't not post it. This is during Dam to Dam while Nick was running...and then he left. Someone was not happy about it. Daddy! Daddy!

8 weeks until baby joins us and Evan has a couple of names picked out. Garbage truck and eat. The very first time I asked it was "Aubrey's mommy" (our neighbor Erin) most recently "Adam's house" has come up (neighbor). He really does think about it before saying anything, maybe he is on to a new trend.
